Do you think females should not be astronomers? or that her work wasn’t worthy of memorialization?
Are you an astronomer, and can you assess the value of her life’s work? Could you have done the work she did in developing the Hubble?
If you knew NASA the way I know NASA, you'd know that it is institutionally up to its ears in "DEI".
DEI policies call into question the merits of ANYBODY who might be seen as benefitting from them.
