Because of our discussions here, when I visited the grocery store this week, I stopped at the cheese case just to look at labels.

Tillamook had no “halal” label, but another brand, Cabot out of Vermont, was showing such.

I have bought Cabot quite a few times over the years, but I will not anymore.

Thanks for checking this out Bigg Red. My husband usually does the shopping these days because of my health issues, I can now let him safely buy tillamook. Maybe I jumped on the rennet issue too fast.
