Walking into a Walmart ten years ago I saw a big shiny riding mower on display by the entrance. A weary young Latino woman came in with five little offspring who commenced running around the tractor screaming “Poppi! Poppi!”.

A few Caucasion shoppers and myself looked at each other sharing the same thought: Living the stereotype.

I was sitting outside an eatery once smokin’ a cig when a black family walked up. there was a young kid with them who jumped up and hung by a tree branch and swung back and forth turning his head on each change of swing direction. I knew exactly what the kid was doin, mimicking the antics of some pro NBA players after a good dunk! But to the mother lmao... seeing me watching the kid, grabbed that little guy and about whooped his ass, no doubt thinking he looked like a swinging monkey.... I just got up and walked away smh...
