Donald Trump has unleashed his own bizarre personal ranking of former American presidents.
Unsurprisingly, Trump, 80, put himself at the top of the list as “The Greatest” of all time in his Thursday Truth Social post.
A generous Trump also declared former Presidents Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson to be “Great”, but not on his elite level.

Now that's amusing. Quoting you twice.... Nobody else but you.
I don’t think the traditional Democrats will vote for him or Republicans because Trump and his supporters have been insulting and making fun of them for years. They have be.en treating Democrats like crap instead of courting them
Weird, your posts aren’t making any sense, they just turned bizarre for some reason.
Okay.
The usual lists have Andrew Johnson and James Buchanan at the bottom of the list. A survey by academics published in 2021 had Trump near the bottom of the list—ahead only of Pierce, Andrew Johnson, and Buchanan. Evidently the experts surveyed were mostly Democrats. Figures like Jackson and Wilson are ranked lower than they used to be because more weight is being put on topics like the Trail of Tears and racism.
I'll rank Wilson lower mostly because of the American intervention in WWI when we should have remained neutral.
In hindsight, I would have supported Germany, they would have defeated Russia, so no Bolsheviks, and since they would have remained a monarchy, no Hitler. And if Britain stayed out of it, as they should have, they might still have their Empire.
Andrew Jackson strove to expunge all national debt, and finally succeeded (during his second term).
No president before or after ever had zero national debt.
Regards,
And the West would have remained intact.
Instead, we have the remnants of the West. You see it in certain places in the U.S. There's still Poland. Argentina may count. Israel is unique but their influence is Western.
France? No. England? No. NYC and LA? Of course not.
Honest question: As if Trump doesn't do more things with purpose than any president in our lifetimes?
He kept us out of war...
In a previous press interaction, the 61-year-old did not mention Biden as her favourite U.S. president. Harris was asked to rank who she thought were the country's "most effective presidents" at the National Urban League in New York on July 31 by NUL President Marc Morial (via New York Post).
Only 34 made the list, even Reagan and Kennedy are absent.
“More proof he is nuts and shouldn’t be President”
Just so I know - is this an example of showing respect? Should I ask the moderator?
Nope. That (dis)honor goes to Lyndon B.
Any ranking that has Hoover ranked above Coolidge is specious at best.
Charles Evans Hughes came very close to winning in 1916--a few thousand votes in California made the difference. I don't know how he would have reacted to Germany's resumption of all-out submarine warfare in early 1917--of course Wilson's term would not have ended until March 4, 1917. I read somewhere that he had considered a way to transfer power to Hughes before March 4 if Hughes won.
If you look at LBJ, most of everything attributed to him was merely the fruition of JFK’s start on them.
No Reagan or Nixon?
You mean stick?
