They are all getting worse. It’s not just GM
The new toyota turbo V6 has the same early failures. And they have the same “machining debris” excuse as GM, hyundai etc
Like they somehow forgot how to clean machined parts

Independents have taken failed Toyota TTV6s apart - it actually is insufficiently cleaned machining swarf causing the failures. It’s getting in hard to clean out places during manufacture.
