Nixon is the one - Corporal Vindman checks out.

Down in Florida, the DSA may have scored one of its biggest victories. They nominated State Rep. Angie Nixon, who defeated favorite Alex Vindman, who outspent her by a lot. It proved once again that you don't underestimate the DSA because they will get their voters out.

Let's check out the events in Florida:

Far-left State Rep. Angie Nixon handed the progressive movement a surprise win against deep-pocketed Alex Vindman in Florida’s Democratic Senate primary Tuesday night.

With nearly all precincts reporting, Nixon had handily defeated Vindman, a retired Army lieutenant colonel and a top witness in President Trump’s 2019 impeachment, by 12 points, 56% to 44%.

Nixon’s victory over Vindman despite his name recognition and being vastly overspent in Florida’s Democratic Senate primary came as a surprise precisely because of where it happened.

Progressives or those aligned with the democratic socialist movement have racked up primary victories elsewhere this cycle, but almost all of them came in blue or purple states.

The DSA is here to stay and that's all you can say.

Vindman stuck to the playbook. He got those valued endorsements from key Democrats like Mark Kelly of Arizona, Jack Reed of Rhode Island, and Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, as well as Florida state Senate Democratic Leader Lori Berman. He looked like a winner, especially having made a name for himself by being a part of the first Trump impeachment. He was a military man, so he had all the credentials to come across as a strong force in a Democrat primary.

Nixon was the underdog all the way. She was elected to the Florida state House in 2020. Vindman chose to skip debates and let the money and endorsements get him over the line.

So the traitor Vindman followed the Andrew Cuomo playbook? Don’t campaign and let others carry you over the finish line?

Are you saying that ‘endorsements’ are basically worthless?

I look forward to her explanation of why she thinks tranny drag shows are good, family fun that she took her children to. (I saw video of her saying that on either the Vince Show or the Dan Bongino Show)

There were a total of 1,659,023 votes cast for Republicans of which 1,320,048 went to the winner Ashley Moody. For Democrats a total of 1,257,966 were cast with Nixon receiving 705,192 votes.

Looking at the numbers it should be clear that this will be a landslide victory for Moody and the Republicans. The DSA will suffer a humiliating loss...

How is it surprising that the far Left socialist would win a Democrat primary?

Democrat politicians win by promising their gullible voters other people’s money.

Democrat constituencies are comprised of all those stupid enough to believe whatever lie their candidates tell them.

Socialism is the ultimate lie.

None of this is surprising.

1. All Nixon’s campaign had to do was use her photograph on EVERY campaign ad. (This was also needed to make sure democrat voters were not confused and thought they were voting for Richard Nixon, R-CA ).

2. Vindman’s name was not Arabic enough to get the Islamic voters, not Spanish enough to get the remaining minority voters. His appearance was too white to get the remaining liberal democrat party liner voters.

A very well-deserved humiliating loss.

Vindman lost to Nixon mostly because, as a former state representative form Jacksonville, she is an minor but nevertheless genuine Florida political figure in a major metropolitan area with a following in local and state Democratic politics. In contrast, Vindman is a recent arrival to the state with a carpet bag full of cash.

Heard Nixon speaking last night - she sounds near illiterate.

Trump is not wrong:

“The most gratifying loss last night was that of a real treasonous creep, Alexander Vindman, to a Radical Left Lunatic, who can’t speak or think properly.”

Yes, a very gratifying loss. Ditto for Cori Bush.

In a better generation, that stunt would have ended her political career on the spot.

As it is now in this warped world, she has a chance of being Florida’s next senator.

Hopefully, this current poll is correct:

“Ashley Moody leads Angie Nixon by 8 points in the most recent University of North Florida poll conducted July 8–17, 2026, with 50% support for Moody versus 42% for Nixon.”
