I just drove past a property that was owned by the father of one of my childhood friends. The father passed away many years ago, and my friend moved to Florida.
They sold the property, which was subdivided. On one part of it a large church was built. I was never clear on its denomination. Some kind of Baptist.
So today, when I drove by it, it had been converted to an “Islamic Center.” They are arising all over my area, in upstate New York.
There is a fairly large islamic center about five miles from my house in Central Florida. It has an islamic school as well.
