The only people I despise more than the dictator‘s thugs are their poison pens, i.e. the hacks who scribble the propaganda. Utterly vile people, these killers without guns or knives.

There is a South Korean pop song entitled Muiiya, which asks the question: "Is there any difference between swords and politics?" This is apparently taken from a dialog by Mencius which posits that killing someone with politics is no different than killing someone with a sword.

I believe the pop group which wrote this song is right. And isn’t it fascinating to notice that obviously Korean pop musicians - though I have no clue how frequently it occurs - don’t hesitate to incorporate deep thoughts in their lyrics.

Not just „she loves me, yeah yeah yeah“ 😀 (nothing against the Beatles, but this line from one of their songs is maybe not the deepest).

Some Western pop and rock musicians did it, too, in the past. I am clueless how the situation is today….
