If MAGA means whatever Trump decides it means on any given day, even if it’s 180 degrees from what he said the day before, then you don’t have a set of principles. You have a cult of personality. OG MAGA was based on a set of promises. MAGA 2.0 means whatever you want it to mean, which is the same as “Queer”.
In my view, Pres. Trump has been 100% consistent, especially when viewed through the lens of "The Art of the Deal".
If you want to debate that, we can, but in the meantime, I'm simply pointing out that loyalty to the president and to his MAGA agenda is not a "cult of personality", it is a political necessity to get anything of value accomplished.
So, if you say, "oh, I support this but don't support that, and I don't like the way Trump tweets" (or "truths") -- no, that's the recipe for failure and disaster.
The only chance we have of success is a united front under Trump's leadership.
Yes, we'll have plenty of opportunity to pick Trump's successor in 2028, and anyone who claims to be "More MAGA than Trump" can make their case to the voters and we'll see how people respond.
In the meantime, we only have one president and MAGA is his to define and accomplish.
So we're either with him, or we're not, and if not now, then we can't claim to be "more MAGA that Trump" in 2028.
