I wonder if those mammoth bones in Florida were dated before or after Clovis. If these were found by cave diving explorers then they certainly could have been deposited around the time Clovis and many large animals were killed around 13,000 years ago. Or perhaps later from a remnant few wandering around.

BRAVE AI:

Florida is a prolific site for Ice Age mammoth fossils, primarily Columbian mammoths (Mammuthus columbi) that roamed the region between 2.6 million and 10,000 years ago. These bones are frequently recovered from underwater sites in rivers and springs, most notably the Peace River, Silver River, and Aucilla River, which act as natural fossil concentrators.

Notable discoveries include a 50-pound, 4-foot femur found by divers in the Peace River in 2021 and a 60-pound jawbone uncovered in the same river in 2023. Additionally, the Vero Beach site yielded a 13,000-year-old bone fragment with an incised mammoth engraving, recognized as the oldest known Ice Age art depicting a proboscidean in the Americas. Other significant finds include juvenile skeletons with butcher marks at the Silver River site, indicating early human interaction.
