Jeremy Moss wins the Democratic primary for Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, NBC News projects, which is open because Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens is running (and currently losing) for the Senate.

“Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., one of Congress’ most outspoken progressives and a member of the “Squad,” won a Democratic primary on Tuesday evening, teeing up her reelection for a fifth term.

Talib’s victory continues a string of victories for progressives as the Democratic party’s far left has enjoyed pronounced primary election success that has strengthened the hand of their coalition. It has also widened the range of positions held by their candidates.

Tlaib, one of the first DSA-backed candidates elected to Congress, has secured the group’s backing again.”

Well, the Senate primary vote count in Michigan has remained mysteriously STUCK at 18% for a very long time now. Is the stall due to creating “missing” ballots?

CD-11 is safe Dem. But the Rat outcome in CD-7 could be pertinent.

Very good PJ. I’m watching it on CNN. Why watch our networks? Too predictable. Let’s see how objective it is.

It’s like about a half hour now that the vote count for Dem Senator has been stuck at 18%. Ironically, the Secretary of State who might be blamed for this strange vote count by the losing candidate is none other than the one who just won the nomination for governor, Benson.

“Mike Rogers can easily flip this seat.”

Agree, but what about all the women he abused in the past?
Haven’t heard about that - you will, we ALWAYS hear about White men abusing women when it helps the Democrat...and funny thing is that they NEVER produce any evidence - just hearsay from well-connected Leftists.

AIPAC is not reliable. Yes, it has contributed to help defeat a couple of high-profile Nazis/Commies/Anti=American types.
But it does not do so all the time, not to any significant degree anyway. And, it has a very spotty record on defending Israel (it even backed the socalled “2 state solution” when that was a Thing...a measure which was calculated... and would have... weakened Israel’s defense massively).

So, yes it does some good things but it also does not get heavily involved in a lot of times when one might hope it would. And I do not join or contribute to AIPAC because of the above. There are many many good Christians and some Jews and some other good people in the organization, the problem is that it IS a large organization with a wide spectrum of members (and with its version of a bureaucracy). I prefer to support several smaller efforts that are more clearly focussed (a key word, I think) on American/allied defense needs, especially now that the IDF has undertaken so much of the “hard work” in destroying the Iranian dictators’ air force, air defenses, and some of Iran’s dictatorial ruling elite. Also, in obtaining and providing a lot of intelligence infromation that is helping USA.

I am not trying to run AIPAC down, just that it is a very broad coalition of some 7,000,000 American members. Maybe I just shy away from BIG organizations? Ha! This could be...
I do want to see a much smaller “federal” govt in WashedUpDC

Have I mentioned lately that I can’t stand Democrats?

“CNN’s Van Jones on Democrat socialist Abdul El-Sayed:

VAN JONES: “Well, look, I mean, look at these numbers.”

“If you are an Arab kid in America right now, if you’re a Muslim kid in America right now and you’re looking at this, this is one of the biggest nights of your life.”

“This is Barack Obama. This is Hillary Clinton.”

“So, you know, whenever there’s a first, you have real hopes and you have real fears.”

“There’s real fears in some Jewish homes tonight. But this is a big deal.”

“And I think he’s…no Muslim has gotten this far in American politics.”

“He should speak to that.”

“And not any of the divisions in our party, to be a healing force and put those kids first.””

"It used to be that you could vote for some D candidates without fear that they were enemy agents or would undermine America’s defenses, civil liberties, moral values, and economy."

I'm not sure when you were born, but the last time you could vote for a democrat who didn't want to destroy the country was in the early 1800s. Hehehe.

Now the Dem senate primary vote is locked in at 22% of the votes for a long time. If they are looking for ballots to put the Weirdo up front, they would need the delays.

Build a wall around Michigan. It’s done.

“Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, the chair of the Democratic Governors Association (DGA), praised Jocelyn Benson, the Michigan secretary of state, after she secured the party’s nomination in the race to replace outgoing Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

“Jocelyn understands the challenges families are facing, and she has been a fearless public servant who fixes broken systems and improves the lives of Michiganders,” Beshear said in a statement.

“As governor, Jocelyn will tackle corruption, lower the costs of health care, housing, and energy, and always stand up to Donald Trump when he threatens Michigan families and their freedoms,” he added.

Benson, prior to becoming secretary of state in 2019, worked with the Southern Poverty Law Center as an investigative researcher before going on to study law. After securing her law degree from Harvard, she worked with Wayne State University and then became its dean in 2012.

As part of his congratulations, Beshear noted that Benson had already won statewide elections in her current role.”

The last two Dem candidates in PA that weren’t total moonbats were Governor Bob Casey Sr. (his worthless son the Senator wasn’t fit to shine his old man’s shoes) and Representative John Murtha. Murtha was liberal on tax/spend/labor unions, but he brought home a lot of pork barrel projects to the area. However he was very pro-life and pro-2A.

Julie Tsirkin
Reporting from Detroit

Here at Haley Stevens’ HQ, we’re starting to hear some finger-pointing about her campaign.

I just talked to a Michigan Democrat who’s a little bit concerned about what they’re seeing so far, and we’re starting to hear the blame game. Some supporters here are starting to question whether or not Stevens really did what she needed to do with the Black vote — and that’s really who she’s been targeting in this race.

This race is really going to define not only the future of the Democratic Party, but the directions and the lessons that Democratic leadership take with them. The race hasn’t even been called yet but that’s the mood in here, right behind the scenes — people are worried.

“A former longtime pollster for Bill and Hillary Clinton’s during their respective political tenures said the Democratic Socialists of America is not representative of true Democrats as-defined.

“Unfortunately, other Democrats and mainstream Democrats let them in the party, accepted them, and now they’re eating the establishment,” [Mark] Penn said when pressed on “Hannity” about DSA priorities like abolishing prisons, abolishing the U.S. Senate, making the Supreme Court report to the House of Representatives and eliminating the presidency.

“If this Michigan race goes the way the polls, and I think the early returns are showing, it’s a tremendous defeat for the Democratic Party as a pro-American party that, OK, differs with the Republican Party but is in the mainstream of supporting the country and its basic values,” Penn told host Sean Hannity on Tuesday, referring to the matchup of Abdul El-Sayed and Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich.

“[T]he DSA does not support America. This is a toxic brew of anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism that has been allowed to come into the Democratic Party and presents a danger both to the party and to the country,” Penn said.

Hannity added that the DSA appears indicative of the “majority” of Penn’s party.”
