You realize they could quadruple the pay of pickers and the cost of an apple you pay would go up a few cents if that. That’s because a picker picks 200 to 300 per hour. So if he is paid $10/hr then that equates to 3 cents an apple. At $40/hr that is 12 cents per apple. $40/hr was a high figure for comparison . But a decent wage of $15 to $20 would only raise the price 5 cents. The average apple costs 75 cents, so now 80cents. A small price to pay for sovereignty.

These problems are creeping up because we have a political party that infnores the the realities of econnomics, anmd istead blames capitalism as the problem. That capitalism cheats people, picks winnders & losers, while making voctims out of racial minorities or other differences betwenn peoples that are the make up of this poulation. Capitalism worked great in this country , until this political party vecame powerful, nd then became corrupted, and to a degree, it has afgfected both pormient political parties, as they both creates laws & obsructions that impeds the capitalism that existed whicgh raised the boats of everyone, not just select groups / Politics is the problem, and its desire to obtain or increase tits personal powers & wealth.
