Utter fooloishness. There is no guarnatee the higher wages will draw farm labors from the domestic pool. As I said the safety nets works fine for the ones that wish to get something for nothing, but it will increase the cost of food and risk the loss of farmers, just as it has raised the prrice of fast food, by triple the amount, and people are unwilling to eat at fast food places as mush as they used to, when the meal cost 5 dollars, and now run close to 20 dollars.

You seem to have simple solutions, problem is simple solutions usually create unseen problems, because the solutions were not well thought out, and the problem it wwas designed to fix, only made the original problem far more severe.

I'm really not trying to be mean, it's just that you are not really examining what the result would be with siple solutions.

You are smarter than that Startt exercising critcal thinkig, and not turn to quick simple solutions. If it were that easy, your solutions would be enacted. Problem is they were enacted, and the issues I raise are what arose.

When ever minimum wage was raised, the beneft for the people they were trying to help, only fueled wage increases acroos the board sooner, rather than later, and shortly thereafter, the people were in the same position they were in at the lower minimum wage, because the costs borne by employers, had to raisde proces of their goods & services, to keep uip thmselves.

Trump is trying to raise wages by creating better hig paying jobs, which are the jobs people with families to support and raise, want & need. The more jobs created, creates more opportunities for thos who want to work to better themselves.

That is how you put Americans back to ork, by creating good paying jobs, not jobs that put you out in the hot weather doing hard manual labor all day. If the farmer can get his goods to the marketplacem then he too will make what he needs to stay in business. Most farm jobs, do provide places to stay at no cost, as well as, provide meals. So, the transient Americans might take the available jobs, but not enough to fulfill the needs of the farms to remain in bsiness.
