Brilliant. When farmers are lost, you may regretg that. You think about that for a while. Listen to Victor Davis Hanson who grew up in a family farming business. You might learn something that you think you know bout, yet your words belie that knowledge you believe you have.

He didn't say citizens at all, for if that were the case he wouldn't even need to talk about immigration reform to modernize the system and "plug holes" in the economy where domestic workforce participation is low.

The "domestic workforce" consists of natural born, as well as, naturilzed citizens. It also includes some green card holders who have not officially become citizens of this nation yet.

So, I am not sure where you pulled that argument from, vecause I said Americans, I made no distinction between any tpe of citizen other than the use of Americans not reall wanting to work in the farm fields.
