The problem with the “emotional rage” theory—well discussed in the article—is the amount of premeditation and detailed planning that went into the event.

Anyone who has felt full rage knows that they are incapable of meticulous planning at such times.

I’ve never had a brain tumor, so I wouldn’t know how it might manifest or affect me. Qualified medical people have considered that it may have played some part in his ultimate actions.

Perhaps so. However, they are able to plan meticulously at other times.

The rage may provide the motivation for the planning.
