I can’t match that, but when I was a kid, my parents would take me and my 3 brothers to one of the local creeks for a swim and a picnic. They usually had waterfalls - maybe 2-6 ft. high. And as I’m sure you would agree, swimming in a creek is waaaaaaaay more fun than swimming in a swimming pool.
LOL, I remember swimming in a creek in a swampy area when I lived on a base down in Maryland, and when I came out, I had several leeches on me!
Heh, I can tell you that dampened my enthusiasm for any kind of fresh water swimming, lakes, streams, or otherwise!
There are worse things in the ocean, to be sure, but things that suck your blood weren’t among them!
