https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/beretta-moves-all-manufacturing-out-of-md-after-state-passes-new-gun-bill/2071229/

Gun maker Beretta U.S.A. will move all of its manufacturing out of Maryland to a new factory in Tennessee, the company announced Monday, after protesting Maryland’s strict gun law passed last year.

The company met with employees Tuesday to tell them that 160 manufacturing and related jobs would move. Beretta’s headquarters, including about 95 administrative and executive jobs, will stay in Accokeek, Maryland.

Previously, the company had said it would use the new Tennessee plant only for making new products. That plant will be an expansion for the company and may eventually employ 300 people, said Jeff Reh, Beretta’s general counsel.

“We are fairly upset about even having to consider a move,” Reh said. “Our preference would have been to stay and grow in Maryland for decades to come.

“But we have to be prudent about our future, and we have more chance to expand and grow in a state that is more positive to the second amendment,” Reh said.

Beretta was active in lobbying against Maryland’s Firearm Safety Act of 2013, considered one of the nation’s most restrictive gun laws. It bans 45 types of assault weapons and prohibits buying ammunition magazines with more than 10 rounds. Gun buyers must be fingerprinted and licensed before buying a handgun.

He’s not panicked. That’s what they wanted. Now MD can say they’re truly a “gun free” zone!!

A small observation. This YouTube channel by Google/YouTube's own info is very new -- "Joined May 15, 2026."

" Julian News Report, hosted by Julian and Omar."

His website is also brand new, registered this summer of 2026. Visiting it -- should you wish, https://juliantalks.com/ -- brings you to 'their' links to other YouTube videos, with titles including "explodes" and "humiliated" and more hyperventilation designed to lure "clicks."

So who is Julian? His website doesn't tell you a last name, nor location. But the domain was registered to someone in California.

Clicks!

The state of Maryland won’t have Beretta to kick around anymore!

I thought they already left. Good on them!

Maryland: beautiful state, wonderful scenery, great people and absolutely horrible, worthless politicians.

Today’s leftists are capable of anything. For example, Maryland could shamelessly pass a new law taxing gun maker profits at 95%.

Everyone on MSNBC would applaud like trained seals.

Beretta is wise to get out.

Still a Legend: Beretta Firearms

In 2016, Beretta USA moved all manufacturing operations to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. The 100-acre production plant was built from the ground up with an innovative design and advanced technologies that allowed Beretta USA to increase production capacity.

Where in Tennessee are they moving to? My gut to the factory they just built or are building is just south of Murfreesboro, TN. I’m not sure if they are done building the factory yet but my gut feeling is they are done building that factory or very close to being done.

Sadly, Beretta QC in Gallatin, TN is still not what is was in Accokeek, MD. The learning curve is steeper than one might have expected.

They already moved much of their production to Tennessee years ago. The same goes for several other gun makers who have moved production and headquarters to the South to get away from the fanatical gun grabbers in the Northeast.

They should move the headquarters as well. The big shots don’t want to move.

I watched the video. It doesn’t seem like the governor panicked at all. The guy in the video says he did, but there’s no evidence of it.

My EDC is still my Beretta 92F. Owned it for 30 years. It’s the one carry pistol I shoot the best out of all my others.

I truly hope Bruen is enforced soon before my sidearm (And other firearms) becomes even more illegal.

Anything of value in a blue state should be stripped out and sent to a red state - just based on general principle.

Beretta has been manufacturing in the Gallatin, Tennessee factory for ten years this month.

Beretta doesn’t like to brag about this but you can stand on the roof of that plant and throw a rock* and hit the spot where Jonathan Browning, father of John Moses Browning, was born in 1805.

* But you really have to be able to chuck a rock.
