Come on! The DH was put in to add offense just like football did with all it’s rule changes. Expanded playoffs. I’m out.
**So a city is threatened to have its football team leave unless it builds a 2 billion dollar stadium that will usually have 8-9 meaningful games a year, only to lose one of these to London or Rio De Janero.**
It’s called embrace the suck. Perhaps the answer is 2 teams sharing one stadium where possible like SOFI or Giants Stadium. When the Raiders are away a bigger college game could be played there-gambling risk. The college game would be on Saturday as the NFL doesn’t want competition. If TV is so big perhaps ticket sales are not so a smaller stadium for certain games would work.
