But are they? We kept hearing over and over again that Iran was close to having nuclear weapons. After a while one gets skeptical.


First they tried to build a nuclear reactor to enrich materials, and that was blown up.
Then, they tried a vast underground centrifuge facility, which was sabotaged and wrecked.
Then they tried an isolated underground centrifuge facility with samples verified to >60% and at least one to 83%, which was bombed and the entrances collapsed.
Then as a start to negotiations they said they still had 400kg of 60% materials, and began both to dig out the collapsed facilities and to begin even deeper facilities likely beyond conventional means of attack.
And you doubt them why?

We went through all of this with Iraq. After a while it’s natural to be skeptical about the boy who cries wolf.
