Of course, Nelson DeMille is one of my favorite authors and all of his books are best sellers.
The ending of the book is maybe my favorite of all time.
I will just say it ends with a trip by the main character, an FBI agent with an appointment in lower Manhattan on September 11, 2001. Incredible writing by a guy from Long Island.
How many eyewitnesses said they saw what the investigation said happened?
You don’t know that because your mind is made up (and closed) that the plane was shot down by a missile. You completely exclude any evidence to the contrary.
I have made no claim either way, you have. Prove it, using and including ALL the evidence, ALL eyewitness testimony, ALL testing of materials, months and months of detailed examination.

For me, the author could not figure out how to end the book so took the easy out out with a meeting of FIB white shirts in the twin towers on 9-11.
