I took a cholesterol drug for a while. One day all of a sudden, I had trouble walking i could crawl but was very weak. Arms tired and weak too. Doc had me stop the poison drug and that fixed issue. Of course, it happened as I was about to make Thanksgiving dinner. Couldn’t carry anything so trashed it all.

I took Atorvastatin Calcium (Lipitor) for many years with no obvious problems. When I hit 60, I got muscle pain so bad I could hardly get up after I put my socks on. Lipitor gone...pain gone. It’s called statin induced myopathy. No statin for me ever again. Oh and then there is the brain fog.
