Yes. Depends on a person’s financial situation.

if you are going to re-learn the operating system, just put linux on it. its free and will run on anything. no need to pay a crappy company a crapload of money.Although Linux runs on just about any PC, most apps do not run on Linux and many that do, are compromised or require extensive troubleshooting.
