You’ll be beat by one year. I’m at 21 years. I can’t believe for Republic was nine years old. When I joined. I’m grateful for the guy that gave me the recommendation. I had never heard of it before. We were stationed Korea. And now I have over 71,000 posts. That’s pretty incredible. I know many have many more but I’m still amazed.
I learned of Free Republic from Rush Limbaugh mentioning the Bush National Guard reprimand memo hoax being found by a FReeper who noticed the proportional spacing of characters and the NT Times font which had not been invented yet.
For me, from my account statistics today: You’ve posted a total of 15,854 threads and 58,464 replies.
I just looked, since Feb. 1999-
“You’ve posted a total of 68 threads and 24,395 replies.”
And I would bet half of those posts are placemarker periods.
