Former KGB agent Vasiliy Mitrokhin testified about the KGB plan to destroy America. As I recall, they decided to destroy the nuclear family. They funded the anti-war, anti-nuclear and gay marriage movements. Essentially, they struck at the foundation of American culture. When the KGB vanished, it makes sense that the Chinese continued doing the same.
I’m sure that one reason Putin is so against the gay movement is he remembers why it was funded. Now Russia is far more vulnerable to the destruction of the family unit than the US is. I have no idea what the Chinese think of the efforts to destroy the family, but their family structures are in free fall, but probably from different causes. Not every ill in American society can be blamed on foreign influence but foreign influence is definitely there.
As for what foreigners think of Platner...he’s just another useful tool to destroy America.
