That is exactly what I was wondering; why do we need more gay people in Congress? To get more Democrat votes, I assume would be the right answer. Well, we already have more than enough Democrat votes screwing up the works already. More gay votes would only further obscure an already divisive issue.

I’m old enough to remember when gays said they just wanted to be left alone to live their lives.
I knew back then that was a lie and I also knew what would happen if they were allowed to thrive in normal society.
And here we are, they are now considered a protected class and the mentally ill trans people are right behind.
So that they might discriminate against normal people, in particular heterosexual men. It’s not about anything other than simply that. It’s the same with every minority. They hire and promote their own, period. This is quite evident in government organizations, but exists everywhere.
The aim is power, control, and siphoning off all the money they possibly can.

I’m going to be politically way incorrect, but if anything we need to ban gays from any influential position. They tend to promote or hire only fellow gays and before long whatever entity they have been admitted to becomes gay heavy (Hollywood anyone?). It’s the camel’s nose.
We do not need more mentally ill people in government. We need less.
