I had to use Google Maps to check if the old Dairy Queen at Ward and Colony in Wallingford, CT was kept in-tact. That’s where I grew up. New “DQ” sign replaced the classic “Dairy Queen”, and the blue paint is new. Other than that. Wonderfully unchanged. No indoor seating, and likely closed in the winter. It is NOT a “grill and chill”. Just chill.
