I think he knew all along.
I believe he knew this was coming all slong, when the criticism from the left and their media attack dogs begins he just wanted to be able to say he bent over backwards trying to work with those maniacs and they refused at every turn.
He’s known that they’re nuts all along. But had to prove it to everyone else. Or at least anyone else with an IQ above that of a partially boiled potato. Which would exclude many democrats, sadly.
It’s a good thing I’m not President - the entire country of Iran would have been turned to glass by now.
Pretty sure he knew it from the beginning. This was all in vain but had to be attempted. Hopefully now we will finish what is an unfortunate necessity, a lot of innocent people are going to suffer but there seems to be little choice left. Dying tyranny’s always lash out at the innocents.
