That penalty was BS. I saw it live. Nothing intentional about that step. Don’t these people get stepped on ALL THE TIME? This is what I hate about soccer: the falling down and crying, the whining, the bitching to the referee, the drama acting. Now that I know you can get thrown out of the current game AND the next game for getting red-carded, no wonder there is so much fake drama going on out there.

US look overmatched already. 1-0 Belgium.
President Trump has nothing to do with the decision.
I’d love to see Belgium try that.
First thing would be to remove NATO HQ from Brussels.
Europeans had better not start a fight they can’t win.
Why’s Belgium so scared of one player?
Cry baby Belgians will fall to a Balogun Blitzkrieg just like they did to Hitler in 1940.
It was all drama, this team looks lost out there.
Whichever team makes it through is gonna get curb stomped by Spain.
Most coaches would say that it doesn't matter because they have the better team anyway and will defeat the United States with or withoout Balogun, but they're not saying that.

BREAKING:
The Belgian fmr professional footballer Karel Snoeckx is fighting for his life in hospital after having been repeatedly stomped on the head by a migrant who accused him of racism.
Karel won the Belgian league with Lierse SK in 1997 and also played for the Belgian national team.
He was attacked on Saturday while out driving with his wife and pregnant daughter.
A verbal altercation started with 2 pedestrians accusing him of racism after he honked at them for crossing the street in a dangerous way.
He was punched in the face, put in a chokehold and then repeatedly stomped on the head.
He was resuscitated on-site for 20 minutes and placed in an artificial coma at AZ Turnhout hospital with suspected brain damage.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted homicide.
The attack comes just days after the Swedish football supporter & off-duty police officer Christian Zedig was beaten to death by African migrants while watching the World Cup at a fan zone in Copenhagen
Clearly this decision didn’t matter one bit. The US team isn’t ready for the big time.
They took the better option: Show up and beat our asses.
They should have gone along with the suspension so they would have an excuse for playing like a High School Soccer team against Belgium.
Hard to get excited about a sporting event where the over/under is 1.
