Every network and cable news company on the planet is salivating
for the moment that they can dump the contracts of their on-air
talent and bring the AI “news readers” to the small screen.
I suspect that a million dollars buys a lot of AI time and it
will only get cheaper. Would anyone notice that Rachel Maddow
and her $24 million salary were gone? Her salary alone could
finance MS NOW’s entire on-air experience.
