2 parts Buffalo Trace
1 part of Your Favorite Amaro
2 dashes Angostura (regular or Orange, depending)
Stir well over ice.
Strain over big ice in Rocks glass in Summer, neat in a Coupe in Winter.
Twist of Lemon or 2 Cherries as you prefer.
Buffalo Trace is one of my second choices, I can do Makers Mark and Bulleit, too. Woodford’s is just my favorite of what I feel like I can afford. I’ve tried a lot of samples that were very good, I just balked at buying them....
