Woodford’s Reserve is good whiskey, probably my favorite in my price range. I like it neat, but I thought the double oaked was a little too much oak for me. I may try it again...
Buffalo Trace takes me to that place.
It strikes me as more aromatic than most of their other offerings, mostly from the added oak I’m pretty sure. It became my go-to bourbon a good many years ago.
I’ve tried hundreds of bourbons but I always come back to WR Double Oaked.
