Just saw this. I havefive patriot ancestors who served in the Revolution. One is a direct line 9th great grandfather. Derrick Hollenbeck. Was a 19 year old private in the 8th Albany Militia whose job was guarding West Point. They fought in one battle and lost 20% killed. They were there at West Point to help guard Washington when he visited and discovered what Benedict Arnold - a very distant cousin - did with the British.
Serving as a judge on Arnold’s trial was Nathanael Greene a cousin whose grandfather Jabaz Greene was my 9th great granfather. I’m SAR and not happy the the DAR has opted to accept transexual delusional frankensteins, but that is their decision.
