In NY, a traffic cam ticket is mailed to the owner of the car, it doesn’t matter that they weren’t driving, the car was caught. Now, maybe in FL not being the driver is a defense. That said, I am against these cameras- they are a money maker and cause accidents. Just yesterday at a traffic cam intersection, I saw a car stop early for a yellow and the car behind hit him....

Certain county judges have declared them to be unconstitutional. One of them was Broward County, a very liberal BLUE county, which was a surprise. Judge’s relative must have gotten a ticket or he did!.............

That's why the red light cams got thrown out by courts in Illinois: statute says it must be for traffic safety, but the accident rate went up. Plus they deliberately shortened the yellow light times to collect more money. Scum.
