Originally, we were funding the right wing guys to put down the commie stuff.
These current “right wingers” are probably a bit more moderate than Pinochet.

2. George W Bush promoted the Faith Based Initiative where the government would fund charitable organizations.
3. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) got involved in foreign country politics.
4. So did the Bushes create these NGO’s to do the work that the deep state formerly did?
The Deep State, via its friends in Congress, created two more “independent” foreign policy arms; there are two “foundations”, one GOP and one Democrat, funded by the government, that operate in the foreign policy sphere. They both are places where the revolving door of the Deep State finds places for persons temporarily out of work in D.C. when control of the White House changes.

George W Bush hyped his Faith Based Initiative in 2005.
And for the last 21 years billions of dollars of grant money have been given to these NGOs and phony non-profits.
We also have to keep in mind that the Feds sent grant money to the States and Local Governments and the State and Local bureaucrats were the ones handing out checks to the NGO’s and phony non-profits.
And until Trump put a partial stop to this fraud, none of the government bureaucrats and politicians throughout the USA had any concerns.
