Your Freedom Vs. Democrat Control: The 2026 Midterms Will Decide America’s Future

We can either renew the spirit of liberty that made America exceptional, or watch her collapse under policies that pull toward perdition.

President Donald J. Trump marked the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta this month, a momentous occasion which went virtually unnoticed.

That is a true pity.

In Magna Carta, we find the timeless principles that shaped our nation’s foundation. Signed on June 15, 1215, at England’s Runnymede, this charter stood as one of the first bold limits on unchecked government power. The text came to pass when feudal barons, the forerunners of modern elected representatives, demanded limits upon King John’s executive authority.

Magna Carta declared that justice must be equal and impartial, that no free person could be deprived of rights without the lawful judgment of peers, that taxes required consent, and that even kings must answer to a higher law. Centuries later, these ideas crossed the Atlantic and inspired our Founding Fathers in Philadelphia. Their embrace of a fusion between Anglo-Saxon ordered liberty and Enlightenment rationalism would create something unlike any other.

They built a republic where liberty, consent of the governed, and rule of law would lift ordinary citizens to extraordinary heights, creating the world’s greatest superpower.

Yet today, the Democrat party has turned its back on that proud history. Instead of protecting individual rights and limited government, it pushes policies that concentrate power, erode accountability, and treat citizens’ freedoms as privileges.

This stark contrast deserves a central place in the minds of Republican voters heading into these pivotal midterms.

With Trump delivering real results that restore strength and opportunity, the choice before us could not be clearer. A Democrat victory would mean two years of obstruction aimed at undermining his administration’s progress, dragging the country into decline.

It reminds me of when I worked at an inner city high school. We had Hispanics from Mexico and Hispanics that already lived here. They were the Surenos and the Nortenos and they hated each other because Nortenos were already Americans and the Surenos were poor illegals. We had people from Laos, Hmong and Mien. They hated each other. It was the weirdest thing. Of all the different people around, they had no problem with anyone except the people from their own country. It’s the same with “some here”. Of all the people to have problems with, they have to hate the people on their own website. I guess it doesn’t make as much drama as saying “sadly, some on Yahoo would not mind if the Democrats won”.

Perhaps THE most important election in our lifetimes was 2016.

We had not just the threat of Hillary - in and of itself a potential “Game Over” prospect for life, liberty, and property - but the filling of Scalia’s seat in the bench. Mary Garland - the most vindictive butthurt AG who acted like a bridesmaid never a bride - would have been ATROCIOUS as an assoc. justice on SCOTUS.

In addition, the eight years of Obama saw the destruction of race relations, $100bn in banknotes being flown to Iran, the murder of Ambassador Stevens with no justice or accountability, and massive regulation of the private sector.

We were on the ropes.

The icing on top of that urinal cake, was a Republican Party that had become the Vichy Party, effectively. “June 22, 2015: Jeb Bush receives 22% support, more than any of the 15 other Republicans included in the latest NBC News / Wall Street Journal poll. Scott Walker received 17% and Marco Rubio 14%, while Ben Carson saw 11%. Other candidates receiving 5% or more included Mike Huckabee (9%), Rand Paul (7%) and Rick Perry (5%).”

THAT was an important election.
