To: Red Badger

It is very cool to tour the catacombs beneath Notre Dame. I never even knew they existed until I visited. It makes sense in hindsight given the Roman founding with who know what ancient populations began there, but it is still fascinating to walk amid those ancient ruins.

I mean, America has nothing comparable. Peope may cite Mesa Verde, Colorado & etc, but I don’t see it.

The history of Europe is just fascinating. I wish it was cheaper and easier to visit and I wish the European nations were not being recolonized by illegal immigrants ruining the travel experience.

Same in Rome - most don’t visit the Catacombs, there’s miles of them. You’re only allowed to travel in a group, you’d get lost. Hearing that this was how ancient Christian’s survived...wild.
