I’ll take one with a rotary dialer.
About 20 years ago some guy out together a company called “Commodore USA”. He had a replica of the Commodore 64 with an updated motherboard and video. They were being produced and sold and then he suddenly died and the company folded.
I love my flip phone. I have 3 Androids but they are only for control purposes (telescopes and the like).
obama phones should be nothing more than this. It shouldn’t provide internet service.
We don’t need to provide cell phones where they can plan looting, takeovers, smash & grabs, etc. on social media.
After resisting the cell phone for many years I finally got a flip phone from Tello, a TCL model which suits my needs at a price I consider reasonable. Tello.com Does what I need without the apps and all that goes with them. 120 bucks no frills.

I still see them in use where a phone is assigned to a position and not an individual person. When the second shift comes in, the phones are passed over to them. For outsiders, you'll always reach whoever is sitting in the role, instead of rotating through numbers for whoever is on duty.
As more work communications moved to Microsoft Teams through the computer, many companies are assigning basic flip phones to employees in the rare event they're calling in to a meeting while away from a computer.
It helps with authentication for access as well. Instead of having multiple phones assigned to a joint account, have one phone and pass it along to whomever is on duty.
It’s not the real “Commodore” of 80’s fame. They went bankrupt in 1994. This new “Commodore”is an Italian firm marketing Linux or Android based laptops or tabs or even cooling systems for their high end laptops. If one wants retro Commodore like computers there is a small but active cohort of computer fans dedicated to bringing the old Commodore/Amiga tech , look and feel into the high performance world of today. They use software emulators with modern chips, or FPGA chips...They are updating different OS’s which can emulate the Commodore/Amiga look and feel.
The idea for the phone is good. The cost is idiotic. Just about any flip phone for 39 bucks at Walmart is low tech enough.
I would like a Tricorder (6’’ × 9’’) sized like a paper back book in size and a smaller flip phone that could use the same account.
It would be nice to be able to use both at the same time at a set premium — talk on the flip phone and navigate with the Tricorder .........
Texting is hopeless on flip phones. I would not buy one. For business, texting cannot be avoided.
BlackBerry Classic, please.
Batteries will probably last a lot longer with no background apps draining the phone
The original Razor was the best phone ever.
But can it be used to track you?
