Yes. That is the problem. It is hard to know why Tillis and McConnell are against the Save Act. My best guess is they simply hate Trump and want to preserve the old power structure at all cost.
I suspect they will be rewarded by the Deep State, some way, some how, and not necessarily monetarily, as they are both very wealthy.

Correction. The net worth of Senator Tillis is modest by Senator standards, only about 8 million dollars.
Senator McConnell is reported to have a net worth of 66 Million dollars.
Neither one is in the ball park of Pelosi!

It is hard to know why Tillis and McConnell are against the Save Act. Kabuki theater. It's more than them. They ain't running again, so they can be the fall guys. The only reason many/most other GOP Senators are voting "Yes" because they know it won't pass and those Senators will get the blame, not them
If (and when) they need more NO votes, some other Senators will all of a sudden come out against it and also vote no.
