This thing is fascinating! I should have included Mark Twain in my Heavenly group! I have been reading it for a while now as it takes a bit to read and have gotten to Chapter II. Will continue a little later but I am honored to have inspired you to remember and blush to be in the same company of this great piece of writing. It’s quite creative and feels even contemporary, making me think of, not comparable, but reminds me a tiny bit of Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. But my goodness, foolish as it sounds, because I have never actually read Twain, he is so good.
For some odd reason all my favorite authors are mid to late 19th Century and early 20 century writers. Dickens, Twain, Rudyard Kipling, Edgar Rice Burroughs, HG Wells, Arthur Conan Doyle, O. Henry. I guess it’s because the world was such a simple place back in those days it was more interesting than the current status of civilization...............
