Yep. Biblically we can do all things in accordance with the will of God.

The Red Sea parting was for increase of faith: “The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I gain glory though Pharaoh…” (and obviously to preserve the people He rescued).

Nothing happened ever to increase Moses’ glory; not this guy’s; nor mine.

ALL glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit — means none to me. All minus anything is not all. Not sure everyone realizes what they’re asking for and why esp for “rote” prayers sometimes recited casually.

To be fair, the depth of the Red Sea where Moses crossed was approximately 300m.
The depth of the South Atlantic Ocean outside of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is about 8,200m.
So the pastor was asking a lot of God just to prove a point.
