I used to love watching 60 Minutes. Then, in college (around 1980) a professor showed us a full 60 Minutes report on nuclear power that included an interview with power plant manager. The guy sounded like a fool and I wanted nothing to do with nuclear power after seeing this.
Then, our professor showed us video of the entire unedited interview with the plant manager. It shocked me to my core. It was 180 degrees different. The guy was thoughtful, informative, even cheerful. He made a strong case FOR nuclear power.
I was never able to watch 60 Minutes after that. It’s impossible to know truth when you watch them.
Yep. Its like that with the whole corporate media. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.......once you see them blatantly outright LIE to you, you start to question everything else they’ve told you. Then you investigate some things you thought you knew for sure and OH MY GOD! I’ve seen that happen with several people.
