Our area Wally Worlds have been having corn on the cob discounted to 33 cents an ear the last several days. Source = ? Mexico, maybe?
I guess I’m living in the past, when we largely only had things in local season. (And all of it was a lot better, too - you could still get supermarket tomatoes as good as from a farm stand.)
And don’t get me started on what they’ve done to meats :-)
Ours too! Had some last night to go with hubby’s most delicious fall off the bone baby back ribs last now. I made coleslaw to round it out. Lovely dinner.
