We are seeing open defiance of the Supreme Court ruling, similar to the open defiance of desegregation rulings in the 1950’s in Southern states.
There are about a dozen states which are defying the Supreme Court. The Second Amendment section of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice is starting to confront these states with lawsuits.
