Step 1: Clearly identify the problem. And declare war.
That’s something FDR did after Pearl Harbor.
And something W refused to do.
Step 2: Identify and shut down every mosque in the US that has even the smallest whiff of radicalism. Deport the leadership.
Just like how FDR shut down the German-American Bund.
Step 3: Punish al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
Make the rubble bounce. And quietly put Saudi Arabia on notice.
None of that ridiculous “nation-building” crap.
Your question really got me thinking. So permit me to add something to Step 1 of my post #18.
A public information campaign would also be needed. Make it clear that a “religion” that preaches death to the infidels, death to anyone who draws a picture of Mohammed, etc. - that’s a religion deserving of close scrutiny.
Such a campaign would have to be handled delicately, and with great care. It would also be necessary.

Our American Revolution was for very clear achievable goals and we reached them.
Think about Trump. It is all MAGA every step of the way. He is goal oriented. He is going to compete with them for something better and put them out of business. AND IT IS WORKING!
