Correct. And right after 9/11 George W. Bush had a unique opportunity to crush radical Islam. The entire civilized world was with us.
A firm and brutally clear response was needed, much like how FDR responded after Pearl Harbor.
Instead, Bush told us “Islam is peace.”
We are paying for Bush’s stupidity now. And I fear we will be paying much more in the future.
