The USDA has banned the use of sheep lung in the U.S., because of potential, but unproven health risks. Any haggis that you have seen here is made without the sheep lung, which means it is not real haggis.
In Scotland, haggis (with sheep lung) is served in just about every pub as inexpensive comfort food. To taste haggis is to love it.
I looked on the internet and saw that you can have it shipped straight from Scotland to your house. I assume it is the real deal........
