Good point. And suitable consequences should result. I’m of the opinion that a police force exists to ultimately protect the perpetrators from the consequences of their acts, by the hands of the victim’s family and friends. I’ve come to embrace the position of “abolish the police” to facilitate the expediency of retribution by watchful vigilantes, reestablishing the lost history of frontier justice.
