They make a good point most fruits are covered in petroleum based paraffin wax or polyethylene based polymers. You literally are eating oil at the molecular level. With the added goodies of polyethylene shedding micro plastics all over the place. Oh and you really cannot wash off either both are impervious to Main based surfactants again at the molecular level. You can peel them off with a pealer and discarded the skin but all the micro amounts still got all over and in the flesh of what ever you pealed.

Mono and diglycerides are naturally found in grapes they are fatty acid polymers.

The lack of basic organic chemistry knowledge and more importantly understanding is sad and represents an abject failure of the American educational system.

I agree it is low IQ people who NPC xxxxxx person bad. Be it orange man bad or “ evil billionaire” bad. It represents group think behavior which is indicative of lower IQ thought processing.

I can guarantee nobody at a Mensa meeting exhibit such low IQ Behavior. I certainly have never seen such behavior at a Mensa meeting in person.

I am a member of the “good at standardized tests” club as well. And I think OP has a leg he needs to go hump.

“both are impervious to Main based surfactants again at the molecular level. “

Grrrr stop auto correcting me Samsung.

both are impervious to NaOH based surfactants again at the molecular level.

That’s soap for nonchemists even actual chemical degreasers like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate a fully synthetic surfactant also made from petroleum btw struggles to remove paraffin wax look at the label of your dish “soap” and shampoo for that matter. And you want to wash your food with that crap?

You need special food grade acid to remove wax, but polyethylene is still impervious to acids short of nitric acid and don’t be near that stuff.
