The sad thing about all this is, as we were bringing in legions of economic migrants under the guise of asylum, you had the “real” persecuted go unnoticed.
Case in point a few years ago (not sure about it today): Coptic Christians.
And what’s worse, is many of these people would integrate into society here.
The squeaky wheel gets the oil and where we put our emphasis with asylum often is fad/trend driven example, waves of folks claiming to be persecuted because they’re LGBTQIA.
No friggin common sense.
