There is nothing new about America’s conflicts with Islam. That aggressive theocratic system has been at war with America almost since the U.S. was born.

Islam is not a religion in the sense that Western Civilization understands the word. Islam is a fusion of social, political, and theological authority. It is antithetical to our constitution and, in practice, has been militarily hostile to America since our nation’s inception.

The only English word that comes close to describing Islam is “Theocracy,” a system of government that fuses religion and autocracy, but even this falls short of the mark. In the words of Dr. Peter Hammond from his book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam,

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.

This synthesis brings observant Muslims into direct conflict with the United States Constitution’s Amendment I, Amendment VI, Amendment XIV, Amendment XIX, and several other clauses.

Sharia law is ecclesiastical law, and in Muslim society, it is administered by religious courts headed by Muslim clerics. The Western institution most like this arrangement was the now-defunct Spanish Inquisition, which has a deservedly black reputation.

The authority that Sharia claims stands in opposition to civil and criminal courts in every American jurisdiction. For example, across America, it is illegal to behead your wife for adultery. However, it is sanctioned under Sharia law, as is stoning, and countries under Sharia governance apply this rule.

Likewise, in America, homosexuality is not punished by death. In fact, it is no longer punished in any way. However, in areas where fundamentalist Sharia Law operates, homosexuals, when discovered, are routinely hanged or

His bible was published in 1969 with the rules for the sect. Technicality but nothing solid prior to that. I was around at that time and spent some time in the military overseas.

There are many religions that fall into this category. Some are Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christadelphian, Biblical Unitarians, Liberal Quakers, Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism. You might be able to call them pagan since they do not equate Christ the same as Christians and the KJ Bible.

Actually, yes. I didn’t list all of the pagan religions I could have. A few are:

The Roman Empire: Polytheistic Romans killed thousands of Christians. Emperors like Nero, Decius, and Diocletian required citizens to sacrifice to traditional Roman gods, viewing Christian refusal as treason and a threat to state security. This led to mass public executions, such as throwing Christians to beasts in arenas.

The Sasanian Empire (Zoroastrianism): During the 4th and 5th centuries, Persian Zoroastrian rulers persecuted the Christian minority. Because Christianity was the official religion of the rival Roman Empire, Persian monarchs viewed Christians within their borders as potential traitors, resulting in waves of executions and martyrdoms.

Early Germanic and Slavic Pagans: In the early medieval period, various polytheistic tribes killed Christian missionaries and raiders. For example, during the Wendish Crusade in the 12th century, Slavic pagans in the region of modern-day Germany actively resisted Christianization, resulting in the deaths of missionaries like Bishop John of Mecklenburg.

And of course islam is a given starting in the 6th century.

There is history that this institution actually began Islam.

The religion most similar to Mormonism (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in terms of structure and lifestyle is Jehovah’s Witnesses, while in terms of theological structure and restoration, Islam shares unexpected similarities. Both Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons are 19th-century American restorationist faiths that emphasize missionary work, non-trinitarianism, and strict adherence to specific lifestyle codes.

While sharing structural similarities with Jehovah’s Witnesses, the theology differs regarding the nature of God, the afterlife, and the use of the Bible. While sharing prophetic restoration elements with Islam, Mormonism differs significantly regarding the divinity of Jesus and the concept of eternal progression. A main difference in how things happen is that Muhammad supposedly died from a natural, severe fever and related illness while Joseph Smith was pulled out a jail cell put in by cheating people and shot. If you want to find out about the many differences of LDS read their “other” book of worship the Book of mormon. They don’t openly display their differences with Christianity but do in that book.
